Several spy photos of the new Jaguar F-Type roadster-kitty have been leaked on the Internet. The premiere is to make its first appearance by the end of the year at the 2014 Paris Auto Show, but the journalists from the Car and Driver magazine made a few shots when the car was undergoing testing.
As a reminder, right now the car is available with two 3.0-litre six-cylinder engines producing either 340 or 380 hp, and the most powerful 495-hp eight-cylinder engine. There is no word yet regarding the engine designated for the hottest version, which is going through tests now. A 550-hp V8 might find a comfortable seat under the bonnet of the new car and maybe it will feature an all-wheel drive layout.
What is known now is that the premiere is equipped with a different rear spoiler, an aggressive splitter attached to its front bumper, upgraded brakes, and new wheels.
Unfortunately, it is unknown whether they are going to have enough time for all tests before the motor show in Paris, which will be held in October. Quite possible is that its debut will be rescheduled to the beginning of 2015. Meanwhile, a disguised sample unit can be met only at the Nürburgring circuit in Germany where the spy photos have been made.
