The next-generation BMW 7 Series will arrive in 2016. Meanwhile, the company revealed a concept of an executive car at the Beijing Motor Show. So how does the car of the future look like?

«We use visionary concept vehicles like the BMW Vision Future Luxury to show where we may be going with these themes in the future, and to give us new inspiration and motivation. The BMW Vision Future Luxury — with its innovative technologies and with meticulous precision and quality in every detail — takes our thinking on modern luxury a logical stage further,» Adrian van Hooydonk, Senior Vice President BMW Group Design stated.

Vision Future Luxury features new interior, wide-opening coach doors, laser headlights, and organic LED lighting used for taillights. The concept is built on carbon fibre and aluminium chassis while lightweight carbon-fibre bars serve as B-pillars making them almost invisible.

Three displays are mounted on the dashboard. One of them informs about the work of all car systems, the second one tells about the current road situation, while the third one is for the multimedia system.

The car has two individual rear seats. The passengers will have two screens, retractable tables, and separate detachable command tablets to control multimedia system.

Expensive leather and overall interior trimming is even not worth mentioning. But what exactly will go into production? Will there be any changes in technical specifications? No information about it yet, all words were spent to describe the “luxury vision”.
