A long-wheelbase Range Rover (which has already been rather long) went on sale in Russia. It is now 201 mm longer. It will be available in four trim levels with knee airbags for the driver.
What about its technical specifications? It can be fitted with either six- or eight-cylinder 3-litre or 4.4-litre diesel engines. Depending on the trim level the SUV can deliver either 248 or 339 hp (600 and 700 Nm). There is an even more powerful version for those who like it “hot” — it is fitted with a 5-litre petrol-powered V8 which is able to deliver 510 hp and 625 Nm of torque. All types of engines are coupled with eight-speed automatic transmission.
But that’s not all. The premiere is equipped with ABS, stability control, dual front side-mounted airbags, curtain airbags and driver’s knee airbags, Hill Start Assist, climate control, light and rain sensors, a rearview camera, leather upholstery, full power accessories, and heating of all seats.
The most expensive edition — Range Rover Autobiography Black — is fitted with a fridge for glasses and bottles, electrically deployable tables with integrated USB charging sockets, climate controls for each zone, memory seat settings, 10.2-inch rear seat entertainment screens, massage functions, electric blinds, leather upholstery, and wood inserts.
The price of Range Rover fitted with 3-litre V6 starts at 4,921,000 RUB (approx. €100,000) while the price of the Autobiography Black edition is expected to start at 8,295,000 RUB (approx. €169,000).
