Each Grand Prix brings new changes in Formula 1. Scuderia Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali shouldered the blame for Ferrari’s poor performance and resigned. Domenicali joined the team in 1991 and became its principal in 2007.

An official message from Stefano was published on team’s website: “There are special moments that come along in everyone's professional life, when one needs courage to take difficult and very agonising decisions. It is time for a significant change. As the boss, I take responsibility, as I have always done, for our current situation. This decision has been taken with the aim of doing something to shake things up and for the good of this group of people that I feel very close to”.

How much Domenicali is to blame is a disputable issue so we’ll have to wait and see whether the new team’s boss Marco Mattiacci, who used to be president of Ferrari North America, is able to improve the situation. In any case, it’s difficult to believe that Stefano Domenicali would be able to leave the world of Formula 1. As reported by auto.vesti.ru, we might see him in one of Pirelli’s divisions soon.

How many more bosses should come and go to win stability? Scuderia Ferrari is the fourth F1 team which had changes in top management. Similar reshuffles happened to Mercedes AMG, McLaren, and Lotus.

Pilots go through hard times also. According to Motorsport-Total, they signed a “solidarity pact”. But that was done not to protect their managers but for the purpose of their own safety. If the teams don’t pay salary to their drivers, they will go on strike and refuse to take part in the races. It is true that money is not always paid on time and all the pilots remember the situation when last season Lotus owed $15 million to Kimi Raikkonen. Everyone has their own battles to fight...
