Give way to the young: a hypercar with “Predator mode” to be built in the USA

The American company Trion Supercars made an ambitious statement about developing a 2000-hp car with the “predator mode”. Their plan is to build the fastest hypercar on our planet.

According to auto.vesti.ru, the company has nothing but a verbal threat so far. However, it all starts with developments. The engineers have already designed a sketch and performed all the necessary calculations based on which the Predator should be faster than the Bugatti Veyron. What concerns the technical part, the hypercar is to be fitted with the twin-turbocharged V8 engine and eight-speed automatic. The estimated acceleration to 100 km/h should be done in 2.8 seconds and the top speed should be more than 450 km/h. It’s quite obvious that one of the major engineer tasks is to make the vehicle as light as possible (meanwhile the sketch really does weigh not that much). The Predator will be made of carbon fibre and ultramodern light alloys.

A few details about the mysterious “Predator Mode” — after pressing the corresponding button the car is re-tuned readjusting suspension and transmission settings along with the interior illumination and the exhaust sound to terrify the crowd.

In order not to make any sweeping statements the company promises to reveal its prototype next month. Meanwhile we still have time to temper our nerves and so that we get frightened when it’s time to meet the predator.
