Journalists from the AutoBild magazine conducted performance tests of the German quad — Audi S3, BMW M235i, Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG and VW Golf R took part in acceleration and deceleration, flexibility and Sachsenring lap tests. It should be noted that all cars had great technical specifications. Mercedes-Benz was featuring best dynamic performance, however, it was third according to overall points. First place was awarded to the BMW M235i which was just a bit behind the Mercedes in driving performance but the manual gearbox of the BMW should be taken into account. In case the BMW was fitted with eight-speed automatic, the situation might have changed. Below you can find the data received in the course of the tests:
