The new Infiniti Q lineup went on sale in Russia. The premium hybrid sedan will be the first to hit the market and will be available starting from April. It will feature the Direct Response hybrid powerplant with a 3.5-litre V6, seven-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive layout. It will be offered in four trim levels. The price of the luxury business-class hybrid car will start at 2,285,000 RUB (approx. €47,000).
The manufacturer makes no secret about the car’s specifications: “The Direct Response technology provides additional power produced by the electric motor just when it’s needed. Q50 3.5h delivers 355 horsepower due to the dual-clutch Direct Response transmission and seven-speed automatic gearbox used also in the M35h. However, the adjustments applied to this system allowed improving the car’s performance, increasing the distance it can travel powered by the electric motor and provided Q50 3.5h with the largest luggage capacity among other hybrid sedans of this class. Automatic transmission Adaptive Shift Control features the Downshift Rev Matching function together with the option of manual mode and magnesium paddle shifts”. The sedan delivers a rather moderate combined cycle fuel consumption of 6.8L per 100 km.
The next “pie” will arrive in Russia with a 2.0-litre petrol turbocharged 4-valve engine delivering 211 hp and 350 Nm of torque. It will also feature seven-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive setup.
Infiniti fitted the sedan with a package of safety systems called the Safety Shield. It comprises such options as the predictive forward collision warning, emergency brake assistance, backup collision intervention system, etc.
Infiniti Q50 2.0L is available in nine trim levels. The price of the model starts at 1,450,000 RUB (approx. €30,000).
A wide variety to suit any taste, the only thing left is to try the “filling”.
