Mercedes G800 iBusiness by Brabus was revealed in Geneva — it’s not difficult to guess that it delivers 800 hp. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes only 4.2 seconds making it faster (!) than Porsche 911 Carrera S (though in its stock version). This rocket was built on the base of the most powerful modification — G 65 AMG, which initially was a military off-road vehicle.
Major changes have affected the turbines; however, it is still fitted with the same 6.0-litre V12 like the AMG top version. Its standard horsepower was increased from 612 to 800 hp, also bringing up the torque from 1,000 to 1,420 Nm.
Its top speed is not as high as the speed of supercars — it’s electronically limited to 250 km/h or to 270 km/h with the turned off limiter. Upgrades also include 23-inch wheels and a body kit. It is quite natural for this project to introduce plenty of trendy devices. For example, the exhibited unit is equipped with an Apple Mac Mini and Apple TV with a 15.6-inch display. Not to mention Wi-Fi.
Naturally, the price tag on a loaded iBusiness is going to be higher than on a Mercedes G 65 AMG which now costs 14 million RUB (approx. €275,000).
