RUF, the German tuning studio, has revealed its vision of Porsche 911 (991). The name of the model is RGT-8 and the most interesting thing about it is the powertrain self-developed by the RUF. First of all, it’s a naturally aspirated 4.5-litre V8. Let us remind that all stock 911 models are fitted with flat-six engines. Secondly, it is able to produce 550 hp and 500 Nm of torque. As a comparison, the most powerful engine a Porsche 991 can be fitted with delivers 475 hp in GT3 version. According to RUF representatives, this power is enough to reach the top speed of 318 km/h; however, its 0–100 km/h acceleration performance is still kept in secret. The model is equipped with the six-speed manual transmission unlike the seven-speed manual drive train in the 991 model. Its exterior is first of all different in more aggressive bumpers, door sills and the iconic RUF 5-spoke alloy wheels.
