Unlim 500+ training day report — Summer 2013

On July 13, 2013 Unlim 500+ training day took place. The following cars took part in the races:

New records were set despite the hot weather with does not usually allow realizing 100% of cars potential. Let us describe it in more details:

Lamborghini LP570 Superleggera Underground Racing R2 / Altechno

This car has improved significantly its results in ¼ and 1 mile distances. Here are the best results shown by this car:

¼ mile — 9.678 sec @ 273.55 km/h
1 mile — 21.852 sec **

** Unfortunately the speed at crossing 1 mile line was not recorded. But according to the MOTEC data this speed was 426.8 km/h.

The results of the training day show that Lamborghini LP570 Superleggera Underground Racing R2 / Altechno is now taking the first place in 1 mile distance time among all cars which have ever been taking part in Unlim 500+ races!

Nissan GT-R (R35) Mk.2 AMS Alpha 12+

GT-R AMS Alpha 12+ has also improved its results setting at the same time ¼ mile time record:

¼ mile — 9.040 sec @ 265.09 km/h
1 mile — 22.426 sec @ 372.28 km/h

Nissan GT-R (R35) Mk.2 Switzer R1K-X

This car came to Russia quite recently and it was its first experience on dynamometer line of Dmitrovsky car practice ground. Here are the results achieved in test mode:

¼ mile — 9.704 sec @ 258.43 km/h
1 mile — 22.740 sec @ 363.63 km/h

Unfortunately due to gear box breakdown the races had to be stopped.

Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG (C218) Gorilla Racing

There was a noticeable improvement in the results of Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG (C218) Gorilla Racing. Efficient realization of car’s power straight from the start helped it achieving the following results:

¼ mile — 11.464 sec @ 210.64 km/h
1 mile — 27.621 sec @ 305.08 km/h
