Representatives of the German automobile magazine AutoBild published the lap times of an Audi RS6 (C7) R MTM at the Sachsenring circuit. The best demonstrated result was 1:37,63 setting a lap record for a station wagon. The previous record-holder was the Mercedes E63 AMG S T-model. The engineers from the MTM company supplied the car with the full exhaust system with sports catalytic converters and also reprogrammed the ECU. The maximum power increased from 560 hp to the impressive 722 hp and 880 Nm of torque. Not least of all because of the increased horsepower the car was able to improve its Sachsenring lap time by 1.9 seconds in comparison with the stock version. The journalists also provided the acceleration dynamics data:
- 0–100 km/h: 3.3 sec
- 0–200 km/h: 11.3 sec
- 0–300 km/h: 35.7 sec
