12th stage of Unlim 500+ to be held on May 31 — June 1, 2014

12th stage of the Unlim 500+ Festival of Speed will be held on May 31 — June 1, 2014 on the dynamometric runway of the Dmitrovsky practice ground. This year there are a few changes in the event regulations. The first and most important change — the racing distance will be reduced from 1 mile to 1 kilometre during the Festival. This measure was introduced to increase the safety during the events. Secondly, there are changes in classification of participating vehicles. Starting from the 12th stage of Unlim 500+ the classes will be formed according to the type of drive of the vehicle. Let us remind that all cars used to be divided into 6 classes: Super Stock, SUV, Super Cars, Sport Cars, Gran Turismo and Super Sport. In the new season all participants will be divided into 8 classes.

1) Exclusive cars
It’s the only class in which the decision on car admission is taken on a case-by-case basis, considering the mark and model of each vehicle.

2) Super stock AWD
All-wheel drive stock cars.

3) Super stock RWD
Rear-wheel drive stock cars.

4) Super cars AWD
Vehicles with minor level of customisation. Customisation of intake, exhaust, fuel systems and reprogramming of the factory installed ECU and gearbox are permitted. Applying NOS injection system and upgrading of the turbines and turbochargers is forbidden. The full list of possible upgrades will be published later on.

NOT ADMITTED in this class: Nissan GT-R cars

5) Super cars RWD
Same requirements as those applied to the class of Super cars AWD

6) SUV

Cars with any level of customisation. Same requirements applied to the cars and pilots as those concerning the class of Super cars AWD.
If exceeding the predefined speed limit, requirements for the Super sport AWD class will be applied to the cars and pilots.

7) Gran Turismo

Cars with any level of customisation. Additional technical regulations will apply to this category of vehicles.

9) Super sport RWD
Same requirements as those applied to the class of Super sport AWD

How to apply for participation?

Step 1: Send the application request

• 1st variant: Fill in the online registration form: www.unlim500.ru/register/
• 2nd variant: Send the application request to unlim@dragtimes.ru in which you need to specify:

your name and last name, phone number, mark and model of the car, year of its manufacture, drive type, license plate number, estimated horsepower and also attach photos of the vehicle.

Step 2: Wait for the confirmation of the application. If there is no confirmation within 24 hours, please contact us at +7 495 768-77-88

Step 3: Pay the participation fee

Important: confirmation of the application request does not guarantee your participation. Timely payment is a mandatory requirement.

Recorded disciplines

The following data is recorded during the runs:

• Reaction time (RT);
• 60 Foot Time.;
• Speed, Elapsed Time(ET), Elapsed Time + Reaction Time for the 1/4 mile distance (402 m);
• Speed, Elapsed Time(ET), Elapsed Time + Reaction Time for the 1 kilometre distance (1000 m);

ENTRY FEE

Starting of today and through April 30: the entry fee for participation in the race of each pilot is 10,000 RUB per vehicle irrespective of the number of the vehicles he/she enters for the race.
