Better than Mercedes

Mercedes-Benz automobiles are definitely almost perfect. But there is some room for improvement even here. Otherwise tuning studios might have never appeared. And now it is the turn of another famous “perfection upgrader” of the three-rayed brand, Brabus, to unveil the new Mercedes-Benz SL 850 6.0 Biturbo created by its engineers.

The experts in customising from the German city of Bottrop used Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG as the base model. First of all, they replaced the “standard” 5.5-litre 8-cylinder engine of the roadster with a 6-litre motor producing 850 hp against the original 537 hp. As a result, the sprint to 100 km/h should take less time than the nominal 4.3 seconds demonstrated by the SL63 AMG. Top speed of the Mercedes-Benz SL850 6.0 Biturbo is about 320 km/h.

Brabus has also introduced a few exterior changes. Front and rear bumpers along with the carbon fibre front splitter were upgraded. Moreover, the car is now fitted with a new tiny spoiler, new radiator grille, modified rear diffuser and new exhaust system.

SL850 features 20-inch wheels. What concerns the car’s interior it appears that it will be completed per order on customer’s request.
