Performance tests: Audi RS5 vs. BMW M3 vs. Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe

German motor sports magazines often publish performance tests of different cars. Today it’s the famous German trio again — Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz — but this time they are one class lower. The tests traditionally included measurements of acceleration, braking, slalom speed and best lap time at Hockenheim circuit. Mercedes-Benz turned out to be the fastest out of those three — it was predictably faster at straight line acceleration. The acceleration dynamics of M3 and RS5 is comparable but C63 leaves behind both of these cars. On the track the story was the same — Mercedes was the fastest. But BMW M3 managed to show better results in braking and slalom. Overall, M3 became the winner of these tests scoring 53 points, while Mercedes and Audi both scored 51 points.
