Porsche’s test drivers have finished testing the facelifted 911 Targa, which hints at its near-future launch date.
The new-generation Porsche 911 Targa was revealed in January this year. And now, just a year later, the automaker is ready to come up with a facelifted version. The engine lineup will lose 3.4- and 3.8-litre naturally aspirated mills. They will be replaced by turbocharged powerplants. The new Targa will come with an all-wheel drive system.
It features new bumpers and LED headlights, bigger air intakes, centrally positioned exhaust pipes and revised taillights.
The facelifted Porsche 911 Targa is likely to launch in January 2015.
