In February 2015, two new trim levels of the Porsche Cayenne will arrive in Russia. The most affordable SUV will cost 3,503,000 RUB (approx. €60,600), while the price of the GTS, the sports modification, will start at 5,247,000 RUB (approx. €90,700), with only the Porsche Cayenne Turbo being more expensive.
The Porsche Cayenne GTS carries a 3.6-litre twin-turbocharged V6 delivering 440 hp, making it 20-hp more powerful than the previous-generation Cayenne GTS fitted with a naturally aspirated V8. It sprints to 100 km/h half a second faster than before — in 5.2 seconds, or 5.1 seconds with the optional Sport Chrono package. Fuel consumption went down by up to 0.9 L/100 km.
It comes with a standard Porsche Active Suspension Management system, brakes from the Cayenne Turbo, suspension with a 24-mm reduction in ride height and bi-xenon headlights. It features aerodynamic elements borrowed from the Cayenne Turbo and 20-inch black wheels.
As for the most affordable model in the lineup, it is equipped with a 3.6-litre naturally aspirated V6 producing 300 hp mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. When fitted with the optional Sport Chrono package, it jumps to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds. The most affordable version also features a multifunction sports steering wheel with shift paddles, automatic boot lid and Xenon headlights with LED running lights.
