Chevrolet teamed up with motocross legend Ricky Carmichael to build an exclusive Colorado Performance Concept. Apart from its outstanding styling, the pickup is fitted with special equipment designed to carry motorcycles and bicycles.
A 3.6-litre 305-hp engine and interior trimming were not that important for Ricky Carmichael. The high-priority question for him was delivering his bike to the racing venue. The pickup has all the necessary equipment geared toward facilitating the bikes’ mounting. It also features a tailgate extender and a revised rear bumper. Ricky says he is fully satisfied with the car’s performance and handling.
However, modifications were not limited to mounting equipment. The car’s body uses a matte grey colour scheme accented with yellow highlights. The pickup rides on 17-inch two-colour aluminium Z71 wheels wearing Goodyear Duratec tyres.
The new model have been revealed at the SEMA show.
