Lamborghini has finally confirmed the hybrid powertrain for the Asterion.
Lamborghini’s engineers have finally started development of a new powertrain featuring a petrol-powered V10 engine and electric motors. It will have a total output of 900 horsepower.
Most probably, it will be used in the Asterion, a new model in the company’s lineup. Under the bonnet, it is expected to carry a 5.2-litre engine and three plug-in electric motors powered by lithium-ion batteries. The electric Lamborghini was considered to be one of the hottest debuts at the recent Paris Motor Show.
