Ford building a smooth-going Mustang

European customers will be able to get a more comfortable but not so fast Ford Mustang.

European customers will be able to get a more comfortable but not so fast Ford Mustang.

A facelifted Ford Mustang is expected to go on sale in Europe early in 2015. It will be fitted with a 2.3-litre turbocharged engine, which is down 1 pony in comparison with the US-spec version. The customers will be able to opt for a 5.0-litre V8, which has gone from 435 to 413 hp.

The sports car is now getting a final touch; however, the sailing is not as smooth as one could think. One of the major issues is the ride comfort. “As soon as we play with the low speed damping we risk harming the car’s handling. Even so, we’re about to begin testing and there are some things we can do,” said one of Ford’s officials when talking about the new suspension setup.
