Mercedes decided to produce special edition of the off-road G-Class model to celebrate its 35th anniversary.
The new model will be called the Edition 35. It will come in two modifications — the G350 BlueTEC and the G500. The cars will be distinguished by an exclusive bodywork and interior trimming.
Edition 35 buyers will be able to opt for three colour schemes: Designo Mystic White Bright, Palladium Silver, and Obsidian Black. The cars will feature chrome highlights in the radiator grille and the spare wheel cover. Bumpers, roof, rearview mirrors, 18-inch light-alloy wheels and flared wheel arches coming from the AMG package will all sparkle in bright black. The G500 version will be fitted with a sports exhaust system.
On the inside, the cars will get an AMG Performance steering wheel and a carbon-fibre trim, which comes together with the Exclusive package. The interior trimming includes black Designo leather with contrast red stitching.
The price of the Mercedes G-Class Edition 35 will start at €84,900 and €94,800 for the for the G350 and G500 models respectively. It remains unclear just how many special edition units will be produced.
