Nissan got tired of keeping the high-performance Note Nismo hatchback in secret and revealed its technical specs.

Some might think that there was no particular reason to keep them concealed for such a long time, however, the engineers were still able to introduce several changes and upgrades.

The new model will be fitted with a 1.2-litre engine delivering 98 horsepower coupled to a CVT. There is a “warmer” version — the Note Nismo S — which carries a 1.6-litre engine delivering 140 horsepower coupled to a 5-speed manual instead of an automatic transmission. The suspension has been readjusted and the brakes were upgraded.

The car’s exterior has also been slightly redesigned, introducing a more aggressive radiator grille and bumpers. As a result, we can see a great family car for a mom who loves “dropping the hammer” from time to time.

If some tuning studios rise to the challenge, they might build a microvan with decent technical specs. Well, for instance, they could fit it with a GT-R mill. Why not? The Note Nismo might easily play the role a wolf in sheep's clothing.
