The hybrid BMW i9 supercar will be revealed in 2016.
Under the bonnet, the new model will carry a 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol-powered engine delivering 500 horsepower. As for the electric motor, no performance figures are available. What is known is that it is definitely going to be more powerful than its predecessor used in the i8 model. While nothing is official, the i9 will jump to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds.
Even though the i9 will borrow many i8’s features, it should be more aggressive on both the outside and the inside.
