World famous customising studio Brabus presented its vision of a sport-tuned Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Wagon. Experts from the German studio approached this matter in a serious way as they usually do. Not only the power unit was upgraded but they also did not forget about the wheels, exhaust system and aerodynamic body pack.
The engine was deeply upgraded including displacement increase from 5.5 to 6.0 litres, modification of turbos, exhaust manifold and engine control programme. These upgrades allowed increasing the horsepower up to 850 and the torque up to 1450 Nm. However, they decided to limit electronically the torque at 1150 Nm level. As stated by Brabus representatives, these modifications will be available both for the rear- and full-wheel drive versions. It will take the latter only 3.1 seconds to accelerate up to 100 km/h. Top speed will be intentionally limited to 300 km/h but if you mount tires with high speed ratings you will be able to accelerate the car up to 350 km/h.
