Lamborghini will unveil a new supercar at the Paris Motor Show. All details are kept under wraps. However, the project is reportedly going to feature a mythological character.
Lamborghini has filed a trademark application for a name and logo of the new model. As reported by Autoblog.nl, the model will be named Asterion. According to Greek mythology, Asterion was the name of the Minotaur, who lived in the Labyrinth, an enormous construction in Knossos, Crete.
As for the logo, it will contain a lightning. One of the versions is that it hints at a hybrid powertrain. However, according to earlier reports made by Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann, the company did not have any plans to build a superhybrid as the weight of such powertrain is too big for a true supercar.
Unfortunately, we should not expect to get any technical details until the official opening of the Paris Motor Show. Unless there is new information leaked.
