New European ¼ mile record among Nissan GT-R R35 cars — 8.295 sec. @ 275 km/h

Last weekend, the fastest Nissan GT-R in Europe, the holder of a 1/4-mile record, set Europe's new record — 8.295 sec topping out at 275 km/h!

Last weekend, the fastest Nissan GT-R in Europe, the holder of a 1/4-mile record, set Europe's new record — 8.295 sec topping out at 275 km/h! This season the car has been upgraded by the Exelixis Motorsport and ZOD Development tuning studios. The measurements performed with the help of the SuperFlow dyno showed the horsepower of 1,766 hp and 1,508 Nm of torque at the boost pressure of 2.8 bar. However, there is still more room left for the world record: Nissan GT-R R35 customised at the ETS (Extreme Turbo Systems) tuning studio was able to cover the 1/4-mile distance in 7.80 sec at the speed of 293.6 km/h. We would like to wish luck to the owner as he says that the potential of his car has not been fully uncovered yet: no weight reduction has been applied, the car features stock body and spare parts.

Two more Russian GT-Rs are close to Theodor's results — Nissan GT-R R35 Mk.3 THOR with a 1/4-mile result of 8.4 sec (Pavel H.) and Nissan GT-R R35 Mk.2 Altechno A1 with a 1/4-mile result of 8.3 sec (Dmitry M.). The 5th round of the Russian Drag Racing Championship will be held in Crimea next weekend. For the first time in the history of the championship the entire dragstrip (402 m) will be spayed with the traction compound. Our friends from Greece, who have rich experience in conducting drag racing competitions, provide all the necessary help in gluing the track. We are looking forward to new records!

In the video below you can watch the measurements made with the help of dynamometer: 1,766 hp and 1,508 Nm of torque at the boost pressure of 2.8 bar.
