Ferrari's new president decided to change the company’s policy and raise production of cars. It’s been just a few days since the Italian company parted with Luca Di Montezemolo, who stepped down and was replaced by Sergio Marchionne. New chief brings new rules.
Particularly, Di Montezemolo tried keeping the sports cars unique and capped their production at 7,000 units per year. From now on, production will be pushed to at least 10,000 vehicles. This plan concerns not only production models — LaFerrari has been put on this list too.
Marchionne assumes that it’s the only right decision to get rid of long waiting lists without losing the company’s place in the sun on a huge grassland full of competitors.
