Mercedes CEO is confident about the overwhelming success of the company’s new coupé SUV.
The M-Class is due to make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March. The company has no doubt that there will be a lot of hype around the coupé SUV. Sure enough, the marketing experts have already calculated the car’s annual production numbers — 65,000 vehicles per year.
As for the car’s name, it might be subject to change. In case the GLE Coupé arrives, the entire M-Class lineup will be renamed to GLE in order not to confuse everyone.
As a reminder, the SUV will be fitted with either 4-cylinder diesel-powered engines or petrol-powered V6 and V8 powertrains coupled to a seven-speed automatic transmission.
