Toyota is in the middle of building a high-performance version of the GT86 coupé, which is expected to feature an all-wheel drive setup.
Earlier, the coupé was believed to get a hybrid powertrain, however, the company ruled out using electric motors. Under the bonnet, the new model will carry a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder boxer engine delivering around 300 hp.
Apart from building a rear-wheel drive version, the company has plans to introduce an all-wheel drive layout as well. However, there is no word yet, when the AWD coupé will be revealed to the customers.
As for the rest, the turbocharged Toyota GT86 got an aggressive rear wing, a splitter, door sill plates, new wheels, and a new bonnet with a prominent scoop.
