Koenigsegg recalls just ONE hypercar

Hardly anybody is surprised to hear about recalls for millions of cars, like those, for instance, issued by GM. However, Koenigsegg is going to set a record by offering a recall for one Agera model over a faulty indicator light.

Hardly anybody is surprised to hear about recalls for millions of cars, like those, for instance, issued by GM. However, Koenigsegg is going to set a record by offering a recall for one Agera model over a faulty indicator light.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued a recall for the only Koenigsegg Agera imported into the United States over the past three years.

And the reason for that is an issue with the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System warning light. It is illuminated if the system detects an error. However, the problem is that this warning light wouldn't immediately come back on when the car is restarted.

It was not bothering the owner of the car; however, some good people were concerned with this problem. Koenigsegg admitted the fault, recalled the car and updated TPMS software installed on the supercar.
