Bugatti plans to launch a luxury sedan, however, some of the company’s representatives are worried it would compete with the Veyron.
The new model is expected to carry an 8.0-litre turbocharged W16 engine delivering 1,500 hp. It should propel the Galibier to the top speed of 457.6 km/h. In this case, it will become the world’s fastest car, outperforming the Mercedes-Benz CLS tuned by Brabus.
VW Group design chief Walter de Silva is among those who think that Galibier might grab the biggest piece of the pie and rival the second-generation Veyron. As a matter of fact, due to de Silva’s opinion the project has been put on hold before, however, the company does not want to rule out the Galibier this time.
