American millionaire James Glickenhaus will reveal his supercar, which might become the world’s most expensive car, at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
The price of the carbon fibre sports car has not been officially announced yet, however, it is speculated that it will be somewhere around €2.1 million. Sure enough, there will be two versions available: a street car as well as a race version. The most powerful modification will be fitted with a 3.5-litre turbocharged engine developed with the help of Honda motorists. However, it will add another million euro to the price mentioned above. On the other hand, the company assures that in this case the car will be able to join the 24 Hours Nürburgring.
A wide range of engines, including a twin-turbocharged V12, will be offered for the street-legal version. Nevertheless, the supercars are not going to be too heavy. The company does know the meaning of the word “economy”, in case it refers to the car’s weight.
