BMW are busy facelifting the new-generation 7-Series flagship sedan, which is scheduled to make its debut in 2016.
The sedan will be based on the new 35up platform that is made of magnesium, aluminium, carbon fibre-reinforced plastic and high-strength steel. The car will be fitted with a range of engines with a capacity of 2–6 litres mated to a 9-speed automatic. Both rear- and all-wheel drive versions will be available.
Allegedly, we should expect a sports version as well. It will carry a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 delivering over 600 horsepower.
On the inside, the flagship sedan features a three-spoke steering wheel, a digital dashboard, and an infotainment display. Well, no drastic changes this time.
