The new Mazda3 MPS will be revealed in the end of 2016 — beginning of 2017 and will be rivalling the Subaru WRX STI and the discontinued Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution.
Mazda3 MPS will feature an all-wheel drive layout. Under the bonnet, it will carry a 2.5-litre engine delivering over 300 hp.
All other technical details are kept under wraps, though the revised brakes and suspension would seem consistent enough, as the AWD cannot be the only solution here.
The company is also busy creating a successor to the RX-8, which should be fitted with a 455-hp engine. Therefore, the future of the Mazda3 MPS seems rather distant at the moment.
