Alfa Romeo is developing the new 6C sports coupé, which should rival the Porsche 911 and Jaguar F-Type.
Fiat does the right thing investing in Alfa Romeo with the idea to make it independent like Ferrari and Maserati, as the company’s engineers seem to overflow with ideas. The 6C coupé is due to make its debut in 2017.
The new model will be fitted with a 3.0-litre six-cylinder twin-turbo engine delivering 520 hp. The new Alfa Romeo is likely to feature a front-engine layout and rear-wheel drive. It will share the platform with the Maserati Alfieri.
Production of the sports car will be limited to just a few thousand units.
